In response to the COVID19 pandemic Shoreline Medical Training has implemented the following precautions

The COVID19 Virus as illustrated by Alissa Eckert & Dan Higgins with the Center for Disease and Control

  • All students are screened before class

  • Students who show signs & symptoms are denied entry to the classroom. Students enrolled in a CPR class will be required to reschedule.

  • Students enrolled in an EMT program will be able to complete online assignments, discussions, and quizzes.

  • EMT students are not granted access back into the classroom until they are medically cleared. Module exams, Skills review, and Verification are made up at that time.   

  • Students are required to sanitize hands before the start of each class

  • Students are required to wear a mask during the duration of class 

  • Students have individual desk, that are sanitized before, and after each class

  • Students are required to don PPE during skills sessions

  • When performing skills. Student to manikin ratio is 1:1

  • Manikins, and equipment are sanitized after each use
