The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is the entry level into prehospital emergency medical provider in the United States. The EMT is educated on rapid field stabilization, treatment, and transport to the Emergency Department. The EMT works in conjunction with Advanced EMTs and paramedics in the prehospital environment. EMTs are able to perform lifesaving techniques such as CPR, the use of an AED, airway management, the application of a tourniquet, splinting, emergency childbirth, and a number of other skills.

About Shoreline Medical Training
Shoreline Medical Training is a new training center in Ridegland S.C. located in riverwalk business park. Shoreline was created to fulfill a need, and provide quality medical training to Beaufort, Jasper, and the surrounding counties. We instruct CPR & AED, First Aid, Basic Life Support, Advanced Medical Life Support, and initial Emergency Medical Technician courses at our facility. As well as on site training whether Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers, such as nursing homes, hospitals, and rehab centers. Or CPR & AED for businesses, and organizations such as daycare centers, and churches.
